Employee/Volunteer Fidelity Issues

This is an area in which churches suffer many losses. In working with Heffernan Group we have developed the Fidelity Checklist to protect the churches, as well as the employees or volunteers handling money.

It is important that certain check points take place to insure that the receiving as well as the disbursement of cash follows a certain process. It is understood that small congregations will have a difficult time obtaining volunteers or employees to follow the list to the letter. If you cannot mark a checklist point with a yes, please return your checklist to CPIP and write a note as to what your procedures are, we will work with you to make sure that your church, employees and volunteers are protected.

The Fidelity and Security Checklists are sent out every two years with your first quarterly statement.
